Defining / Accessibility

Built to be usable by everyone.

Effective date: September 10, 2026

Great naming is about clarity for every audience. The same standard applies to this website.

01Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to use Defining.com. The site is built with semantic HTML, keyboard-navigable menus and forms, skip-to-content links, alt text on meaningful images, a contrast-conscious palette, and support for reduced-motion preferences. We aim toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and treat accessibility as ongoing work, not a checkbox.

02Known limitations

Some archival material—such as older article content migrated from our previous site—may not yet meet the standard we hold new pages to. We review and improve these as we find them.

03Tell us if something isn’t working

If any part of this site is difficult for you to use, email sales@defining.com and tell us what you ran into and what you were trying to do. A real person reads these, and we will do our best to fix the issue and to get you the information you needed in the meantime.
